WHAT TO EXPECT ON A FAR FUNG PLACES
SCHEDULED JOURNEY

Group Size: Our journeys are designed for small groups, typically no more than 12–13 guests, allowing for a more personal and flexible experience.

Singles: We warmly welcome independent (single) travelers, who make up a significant portion of our community. As many of the accommodations we select are boutique or limited in size, the number of single rooms available on each departure may be constrained. We encourage early inquiry to ensure the best possible arrangements.

In some cases, we can secure additional rooms or offer thoughtful alternatives, always with the goal of maintaining the integrity and comfort of the journey.

Style of Accommodations: Our accommodations are chosen for their character, comfort, and sense of place—typically within the four- and five-star range, or the finest available in more remote regions, which could be three star but clean.

Meals: Daily breakfast and a selection of thoughtfully chosen meals, which could be daily lunches for ease of operation, allowing you to experience local cuisine. On our exploratory journeys to isolated regions, all meals are included for client health and well-being.

Gratuities: On our scheduled small group departures, gratuities are handled throughout,
so you may travel with ease.

Local Experts: Where appropriate, journeys are enriched by exceptional guides, scholars, or local experts who bring context and depth to each destination. These are not simply contacts, but ongoing collaborations that enrich each journey in quiet but meaningful ways.

Cultural Awareness: As always, we are sensitive to the local cultures. An essential part of our approach is traveling with awareness and respect for the communities we encounter. We offer thoughtful guidance before and throughout the journey—so that interactions feel natural, considerate, and mutually enriching, experienced in a way that is both genuine and welcome.

Financial Security: Client funds are held and managed through secure, dedicated accounts ensuring that arrangements are protected and handled with the utmost care and transparency.
